Search

You can search for images and videos using the Search field at the top right.

Note: If a video or image does not have tags, you cannot find it using the search. You must browse through images and videos or enter the URL.

1. Type in the word(s) you want to find. To open the Search page, leave this field blank.
2. Click Search. The search finds images, videos, and websites that match your term(s). For some search terms, additional information displays on the left side of the page. For example, if you search for "jessica alba", in addition to images, videos, and websites that are tagged "jessica alba", information about Jessica Alba, such as a biography and latest news and gossip, also displays.

If there are no matches, the Search page opens.

On the Search page:

1. Enter a Search term.
2. Choose the Search Type.
3. Click Search.

Rules

• You must enter at least three characters or the search does not find anything.
• To search for terms that are less than three characters, replace characters with %. For example, to search for "w", enter the letter "w" and two percent (%) symbols, in any order (w%%, %w%, or %%w). Remember that the search may also return terms like w2, 6w85, etc.
• Search does not find numbers. For example, if you enter R2D2, the search does not find anything. However, you can enter the word two and the search finds media and websites with the word two. You can also replace a number with %. For example, R%D% will find R2D2, r3d, etc.
• If you enter multiple words, only results that contain all words are shown. For example, if you enter "happy birthday", only media and websites with the words "happy" AND "birthday"are shown.
• You can use the word OR between words to find media and websites with either or all of the words. For example, "happy OR birthday" shows media and websites with the terms "happy", "birthday", and "happy birthday". You must use uppercase letters for OR.
• You can use wildcards (* and ?) when you search.
  • To perform a single character wildcard search use the "?" symbol. For example, to search for "text" or "test" you can use the search "te?t".
  • To perform a multiple character wildcard search use the "*" symbol. For example, to search for "test", "tests"or "tester", you can use the search "test*". You can also use the wildcard searches in the middle of a term, "te*t".

Note: You cannot use a * or ? symbol as the first character of a search.
