Account Settings
You can view and change your account settings when you are a TinyPic member.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click Settings at the top right.
- Enter a custom URL for your profile, for example http://www.tinypic.com/imgr8. If another user is already using the custom URL you entered, you will receive an error.
- Choose a theme for your TinyPic account. The theme displays on your profile pages: Your Home, Your Stuff, Your Albums, and Favorites. If your account is public and you send a link to someone, that person will also see your theme.
- Edit your e-mail address, if necessary.
- Click Want to change your password? if you want to enter a new password.
- Choose your default image upload size. If you leave this field as Default, images are uploaded at their current size, unless they are too large (bigger than 1600 pixels, either width or height). If they are too large, TinyPic automatically resizes them.
- Choose the default Language for your TinyPic display.
- Choose Allow uploads via E-mail if you want to upload media using your e-mail or mobile phone.
Notes:
- If you choose Allow... you can e-mail media to your TinyPic account from the e-mail address you used to register your TinyPic account (the e-mail address in step 4). If you enter your mobile number in step 9, you can also e-mail media to your account from your phone.
- E-mail your media to m@tinypic.com.
Important! If you enter an incorrect e-mail address or mobile number, you will receive an error when you try to upload using e-mail.
- Enter your Mobile Number. If you do not enter your mobile number, you cannot upload media using your mobile phone.
- Choose whether you want to receive TinyPic newsletters.
- Click Save Changes. Your settings are saved.
See Delete Your Account for details about deleting your account.
Tell Us About Yourself
On your Settings page, you can optionally provide extra information.

- Enter your Last Name.
- Set your profile as Public or Private.
- Click Save Changes. Your information is saved.
Do I want a Public or Private Profile?
Regardless of whether your profile is public or private, any of your images and videos could display in a search, if the search term the user enters matches a tag on your media.
However, a private profile ensures that a URL link to your Home page, Your Stuff, Your Albums, or your Favorites is not provided by TinyPic, and any user who had the link would have to log into your account to see your stuff.
A public profile means that a URL link to your Home page, Your Stuff, Your Albums, and your Favorites is provided by TinyPic, and a user who has the link can see those pages in their entirety.
